My 99exch — Balance, Exposure and P&L Decoded From Your Own Statement

My 99exch is the logged-in side of 99exch — the account area that opens once the login screen accepts your ID and password. Four figures matter in it: your balance (top strip, right corner), your exposure (the bracketed figure sitting beside it), your account statement (first row of the account menu), and your open bets (same menu, one line down). This page decodes all four and shows you how to make them agree.

Everything here assumes you already hold a 99exch ID from a WhatsApp agent and can reach 99exch at 99exch.com, or on a phone through /m/login and /m/home. A password that refuses to go through is a login problem, not an account problem; settle that first and come back.

Treat what follows as a desk manual. Keep your own my 99exch screen open in another tab and check each number against 99exch as you read — the whole point of an account area is that every rupee in it can be traced, and by the end of this page you should be able to trace yours.

My 99exch Balance Screen — Every Number Decoded

The logged-in 99exch screen carries three account figures: balance, which is money free to stake or withdraw; exposure, which is money temporarily held against unsettled bets; and profit & loss, which records finished markets only. Balance and exposure sit together in the top strip of my 99exch; P&L lives one tap deeper, inside the account menu.

Get those three definitions straight and roughly nine out of ten "where did my money go" messages never need to be sent. The rest of this section walks each figure, then runs a full worked session in rupees so you can see them move.

Balance: the free figure

Balance is spendable money. Deposits raise it. Settled wins raise it. Settled losses and withdrawals lower it, and — this is the part that catches nearly everyone in week one — placing a bet lowers it instantly, before any result exists. The moment your bet matches, 99exch shifts the worst-case cost out of balance and into exposure. Its a transfer between two pockets of the same account, not a deduction, and the money comes back the instant the bet is cancelled unmatched.

A balance reading ₹0 with bets open does not mean you are broke. It means you are fully committed. Big difference.

One more habit worth building early: read balance only after a refresh. A screen left open through a settlement can show the pre-settlement figure until it redraws, which on the mobile view at /m/home is a pull-down away.

Exposure: the held figure

Exposure is the worst-case cost of every open bet, added together. Back bets contribute their stake — you backed India with ₹500, the most you can lose is ₹500, so ₹500 is held. Lay bets contribute their liability, which is stake × (odds − 1), and that can be far larger than the stake itself. My 99exch usually prints exposure inside brackets, which is its way of saying "spoken for."

Exposure is not a loss. It returns to balance in full when a bet is cancelled unmatched, and it converts into a settled profit or loss when the market closes. Section four goes deeper on this, because it is the single most misread number on the whole 99exch account screen.

Profit & loss: settled markets only

The P&L view answers exactly one question — how did finished markets go? Open bets never appear in it. Hard to say how many mid-match panics start with someone opening P&L while a game is still running and concluding that money has vanished, but the number is probably not small. The rule: exposure during the match, P&L after it.

A worked ₹2,000 session on 99exch

Numbers make the pockets visible. Suppose you deposit ₹2,000 (the 99exch minimum deposit is ₹500, so this leaves comfortable room) and place two bets in two different matches:

StepActionBalanceExposure
1Deposit ₹2,000₹2,000₹0
2Back India, ₹500 at odds 1.90₹1,500₹500
3Lay Pakistan, ₹400 at odds 2.20 (second match)₹1,020₹980
4India win — first market settles₹1,970₹480
5Pakistan lose — lay bet settles₹2,850₹0

Line 2 is simple: the ₹500 stake moves across, balance drops to ₹1,500. Line 3 is the one to study. The lay of ₹400 at 2.20 does not hold ₹400 — it holds the liability, 400 × 1.20 = ₹480. Combined exposure is now ₹980 and free balance is ₹1,020.

Line 4: India win, so your back bet returns its ₹500 stake plus ₹450 profit (500 × 0.90). Balance climbs to ₹1,970 while the lay's ₹480 stays held. Line 5: Pakistan lose, your lay wins, the ₹480 liability is released and the backer's ₹400 stake lands on top. Closing balance ₹2,850, exposure zero, session profit ₹850 on ₹980 held at peak.

Run this table against your own my 99 exch session once and the header strip stops being mysterious for good.

Where each figure physically sits

Balance and exposure live in the top strip on every my 99exch screen, desktop and mobile alike. Tap the account name or menu icon beside them and the account list opens: Account Statement, Bet History, Profit & Loss, Open Bets (99exch sometimes labels this Current Bets), and Change Password. On /m/home the same strip is condensed but the order does not change. Nothing account-related hides anywhere else — if a screen asks for your details outside this menu, you are not on 99exch.

A note for demo users. The free 99exch demo ID shows this exact account area with a practice balance in place of real money — same header strip, same statement, same open-bets list. That makes it the safest classroom there is: place a demo back and a demo lay, watch balance and exposure trade places, and read the resulting statement lines before a single real rupee is involved.

My 99exch Statement — Reconcile a Session in Eight Steps

To reconcile a session on 99exch, open Account Statement, set the date range, note the opening balance, then tick every credit and debit against Bet History. Opening balance + deposits − withdrawals + wins − losses must equal the closing figure; any gap should equal your current exposure, nothing else.

The statement is a plain money log: each line carries a date, a description, a credit or debit amount, and a running balance. Descriptions are terse but readable — deposits and withdrawals show as agent transfers, settled sports bets name their market, and casino play shows up under the game itself, so a run of Dragon Tiger or Lucky 7 rounds reads as a run of small same-named lines. Bet History is the wager-level view — market, side, stake, odds, result. Reconciling means making the two agree with the header strip. Eight steps:

  1. Log in at 99exch.com (or /m/login on a phone) and open the account menu from the top strip of my 99exch.
  2. Open Account Statement and set the date range to the session you want — yesterday evening, say, from your first bet to your last.
  3. Write down the opening balance shown on the earliest line. This is your anchor; every check that follows hangs off it.
  4. Open Bet History for the same range in a second tab, or on paper if you are on mobile.
  5. Match credits first. Every deposit and every settled win in the statement should have a source — an agent transfer you remember, or a Bet History line marked won.
  6. Match debits next: withdrawals you requested and settled losses, each against its Bet History line.
  7. Apply the formula: opening + deposits − withdrawals + wins − losses. Write the result down.
  8. Compare with the balance in the header. Equal means clean. A shortfall that exactly matches your exposure figure means open bets, also clean. Anything else is a genuine query — section six covers what to check before you message anyone.

I said match credits first, in step 5. Worth explaining why: there are usually far fewer credits than debits in a betting session, so starting there gets half the statement verified in a minute and narrows any error to the debit side.

A quick example of the gap that scares people. Statement maths says you should hold ₹4,120; the header says ₹2,360. Difference: ₹1,760. Open Bets shows a lay on tonight's tennis holding ₹1,760 of liability. Nothing is missing — the statement counts settled money, the header counts free money, and the ₹1,760 is simply parked between the two untill that market closes.

Do this within a day of the session while the bets are still fresh in your head. A week later you will not remember whether that ₹300 debit was the Lucky 7 round or the second innings market, and a five-minute job becomes twenty.

My 99exch Account Actions — Password, Open Bets and Withdrawal

Three actions cover almost everything you will ever do from the my 99 exch account area besides betting: changing the password, checking open bets, and moving money out. The first two happen entirely inside 99exch; the third starts on your screen and finishes in your agent's chat.

Changing your 99exch password

The path: account menu → Change Password → enter the current password, the new one twice → submit. 99exch signs you out, and you log back in at /m/login with the new credentials. Thirty seconds, start to finish.

Do it the same day an agent hands you a new 99exch ID. The first password arrives over WhatsApp, which means at minimum one other person has seen it — rotating it immediately makes the account yours alone. After that, a monthly change is enough (the weekly routine in section five pins it to the first Sunday so you never have to think about it).

Pick something you do not use on any other betting account or app. Obvious advice, routinely ignored.

Checking your open bets

Open Bets from the account menu lists every unsettled wager: market name, side, stake, odds, and matched or unmatched status. Each line is tagged the way the market screen is laid out — back on one side, lay on the other — so the list reads at a glance, and my 99exch does the explaining for you.

The matched/unmatched split is the part that pays to understand. A matched bet is locked in and waits for settlement; you cannot cancel it. An unmatched bet is an open offer the market never accepted — odds you asked for that nobody took. Cancel an unmatched bet and its exposure returns to balance instantly, which makes this list the first stop whenever your free balance seems low. Before a withdrawal, before a panic message, before anything: open bets first.

Requesting a withdrawal from the account side

99exch has no public cashier form — withdrawals run through the agent who issued your ID, and the account area's job is to tell you what you can take and to prove it left. The sequence:

  1. Check Open Bets. Money held as exposure cannot travel; only the free balance can.
  2. Note the exact balance figure you intend to withdraw.
  3. Message your agent the amount plus your UPI or IMPS details, all in one message.
  4. Wait. Payouts typically land in 10-30 minutes, and agents run 24x7, so a 1 a.m. request after a late T20 is normal traffic, not a nuisance.
  5. Confirm the debit line appears in your Account Statement and screenshot it next to the bank credit. That pair of images is your receipt.

Timing caveat, since a desk manual should give one: the 10-30 minute window is the 99exch-to-bank pipeline working normally. Bank-side UPI delays add their own minutes now and then, and there is not much either you or the agent can do except let the reference number do its work.

Sequence matters more than speed here. Request a payout while a market is still open and you can only move the free balance — the held portion stays until settlement, which means a second request later for the rest. Simpler pattern: let the evening's markets settle, reconcile once, withdraw once. One request, one statement line, one bank credit to pair it with.

My 99exch Exposure — Why Balance Drops the Moment a Bet Matches

Money never disappears inside a 99exch account mid-bet — it moves from balance to exposure, which is a hold, not a charge. 99exch reserves your worst possible loss the moment a bet matches, and releases or settles that reserve when the market closes. Held, not gone. That is the entire mechanism.

Worth saying twice, in different words, because this single misunderstanding produces more worried messages than everything else on 99exch combined: balance is what you can still touch, exposure is what the market is holding on your behalf, and the two always add up to the same account.

How much gets held depends on which side of the book you are on:

BetStakeOddsAmount held
Back₹1,0001.50₹1,000
Back₹1,0003.00₹1,000
Lay₹1,0001.50₹500
Lay₹1,0003.00₹2,000

Back bets are flat: the stake is the hold, whatever the odds. Lay bets scale with price — stake × (odds − 1) — so laying at 3.00 holds double your stake, and laying a long shot at 8.00 would hold seven times it. First-time layers on 99exch routinely stake as if the hold were the stake, then wonder why the balance fell ₹2,000 on a ₹1,000 bet. The back cell and the lay cell on the 99exch market screen are priced differently for exactly this reason.

Now the clever part of the machine. Exposure is computed per market as a worst case, not per bet, so opposing bets in the same market offset each other. Say you back India with ₹1,000 at 1.80, the price shortens, and you lay India with ₹1,000 at 1.60. If India win you collect ₹800 and pay ₹600 — net +₹200. If India lose the two stakes cancel — net ₹0. Your worst case across the market is now zero, so 99exch drops the exposure on that market to zero even though two live bets sit in it. Traders call this greening up; my 99exch simply shows a smaller held figure.

Casino play behaves differently, and it is worth keeping the two seperate in your head. Rounds of Teen Patti 20-20, Dragon Tiger, Lucky 7, Andar Bahar and Aviator debit the stake when the round opens and settle within the round itself, usually inside a minute — so casino money barely registers as exposure at all. In practice, a large exposure figure on your 99exch account is nearly always a sports position, and a sudden balance dip during casino play is nearly always a round in flight.

One last connection to the statement, because it trips up careful readers: exposure never appears there. The Account Statement records completed movements — deposits, withdrawals, settlements — while a hold is not a movement, just a reservation. So the statement can be perfectly correct and still disagree with the header by exactly your open exposure. Both are right. They are answering different questions.

My 99exch Weekly Check — Ten Minutes That Keep the Account Clean

Ten minutes on a Sunday night keeps a 99exch account clean: reconcile the week's statement, verify withdrawals against your bank, clear dead unmatched bets, and confirm you are logging into the real address. None of it is difficult; all of it is the difference between an account you trust and one you squint at.

The routine, in order:

  • Statement, last seven days. Run the eight-step reconciliation from section two across the whole week. One pass, opening Sunday to closing Sunday.
  • Withdrawals vs bank. Every withdrawal debit in the statement should have a matching UPI or IMPS credit in your bank app. Pair them off.
  • Kill stale unmatched bets. Sort Open Bets and cancel any unmatched offer on a fixture that has already started or finished — the fixture times on the 99exch market list make the dead ones easy to spot. Each cancellation returns its exposure on the spot.
  • First Sunday of the month: change the password. Section three has the path. Two minutes.
  • Check the address bar. It should read 99exch.com, or the /m/home path on mobile. The official extension addresses — 99exch.green, 99exch.red and 99exch.black — are all the same account behind a different ending, kept because betting domains get blocked in India. An address you have never seen before is not one of them; close it and reach 99exch the way you always do.
  • Log out of shared devices. Any browser that is not your own phone — a friend's device, an office machine — gets a manual logout. Sticky sessions on shared screens are how "someone bet from my account" stories start.
  • Screenshot the closing balance. Next Sunday's opening figure should match it exactly. A folder of these, one per week, settles any future dispute in about four seconds.

I said ten minutes. On a heavy week — forty or fifty settled bets across cricket, football and a few Aviator sessions — make it twenty and do it properly rather than skimming. The weeks you least feel like reconciling are, probably, the weeks that most need it.

Why bother at all, when 99exch does the arithmetic itself? Because 99exch records only what happened on its own screens — it cannot see your bank. Only you can pair a withdrawal debit with the credit that actually arrived, and only you will notice a deposit you sent that never showed as a statement line. The weekly pass is the one place those two worlds get compared, and seven days is about as far apart as they can drift before the comparison turns into archaeology.

My 99exch Balance Looks Short — Five Checks Before Messaging the Desk

A 99exch balance that looks short is almost always explained by one of five things: an unsettled market, an unmatched bet, a statement date filter, a casino round in flight, or a stale screen. Run these checks in order — most account queries die at the first one, and the whole list takes under three minutes.

  1. Open Bets. An unsettled sports market holds exposure, and exposure is invisible if you only look at balance. Eight cases in ten end here — the header's bracketed figure plus the balance equals what you expected all along.
  2. Unmatched bets. An offer sitting at odds the market never touched still holds its worst-case amount. Cancel it and watch the balance jump back.
  3. Statement date filter. A range that stops at midnight silently drops the late entries — and on nights when a match runs past 12, the bets you remember best are exactly the ones the filter is hiding. Widen the range by a day on both ends and recount.
  4. Casino round in progress. Aviator debits your stake at take-off; Teen Patti 20-20 debits when the round opens. A balance checked mid-round is lower by exactly the stakes in flight.
  5. Stale screen. Log out, log back in through /m/login, let everything redraw. Screens left open across a settlement can display numbers that are minutes old, and a fresh session costs nothing.

A composite case for shape. Indore, Sunday, 11:38 pm: a user finishes a T20 evening, counts his balance ₹1,760 short of what his own maths said, and is halfway to to an angry message before checking Open Bets — where a tennis lay from earlier that evening is holding exactly ₹1,760. The market settles around 1 a.m.; the balance is whole by breakfast. Check one would have answered it in fifteen seconds.

One rarer case before you escalate. Players who keep a demo ID alongside a funded 99exch ID sometimes log into the wrong one — the screens are deliberately identical, and a practice balance glanced at in a hurry looks like a real balance gone strange. Extension addresses invite the same slip in reverse: 99exch.green, 99exch.red and 99exch.black all front the same account, so a "different" balance on a different ending is not different at all, but a second ID genuinely is. Check which username sits in the header before anything else.

If all five checks fail, then message your agent — and send facts, not feelings. One message carrying the market name, the bet ID from Bet History, the stake, the time it was placed, and a screenshot of the statement line will get a real answer fast; agents are on 24x7 and a query they can look up beats a query they must interrogate. Ten vague messages establish nothing. One precise message usually closes the matter in a single reply.

And note what genuinely wrong looks like, so you know it when you see it: a settled market whose result in Bet History does not match what happened on the field, a statement line for a bet you never placed, or a deposit confirmed by the agent that has not appeared after a fair wait. Those three are worth escalating immediately. A short-looking balance with open bets running is not — that is 99exch doing its job.

Keep your weekly screenshots from section five within reach for exactly these moments. An account you have been reconciling every Sunday is an account where you can prove, line by line, what the balance was and when — which turns "something looks wrong" from an argument into a lookup.

My 99exch Account Questions

Why does my 99 exch balance drop the moment I place a bet?

99exch moves your worst-case cost from balance into exposure as soon as the bet matches. A ₹500 back bet shifts ₹500; a lay bet shifts stake × (odds − 1). Nothing is lost at that point — the held amount returns if the bet is cancelled unmatched and settles into profit or loss when the market closes.

Where do I find the account statement in my 99 exch account?

Open the account menu from the top strip after logging in at 99exch.com or /m/home. Account Statement is the first entry: set a date range and it lists every deposit, withdrawal and settled bet with a running balance. Bet History sits beside it and carries the wager-level detail.

How do I check my open bets on 99exch?

Select Open Bets from the account menu. Every unsettled wager lists with its market, stake, odds, and a back or lay tag, plus matched or unmatched status. Unmatched bets can be cancelled instantly, which releases their held exposure straight back into your free balance.

How long does a 99exch withdrawal take to reach my bank?

Typically 10-30 minutes by UPI or IMPS once your agent confirms the request, and agents work 24x7. Send the amount and payment details in one message, then verify the debit appears in your Account Statement. Occasional bank-side delays can stretch a payout slightly beyond that window.

How do I change the password on my 99 exch account?

Open the account menu, choose Change Password, enter the current password and the new one twice, and submit. 99exch signs you out; log back in at /m/login with the new password. Change it the day your agent issues the ID, then roughly monthly after that.

What does the exposure figure mean in my 99 exch account?

Exposure is the combined worst-case cost of your unsettled bets, shown beside balance in the header. Back bets add their stake; lay bets add stake × (odds − 1). It is held money, not lost money — every open market either releases it on cancellation or converts it into a settled result.

How do I log in to my 99exch account?

Open 99exch.com on a laptop or 99exch.com/m/login on a phone, then enter the username and password your agent issued. My 99exch opens straight onto the balance strip. There is no OTP step and no email login, so a failed attempt is nearly always a typing slip.

How do I check my 99exch balance?

The balance sits at the top of every my 99exch screen, beside the exposure figure. Refresh before reading it, because a screen left open through a settlement keeps showing the older number. On mobile, pull down at /m/home and the figure redraws in about a second.

Can I reset my 99exch password from the account menu?

Yes. Change Password inside my 99exch takes the current password plus a new one twice, then signs you out. If the current one is genuinely forgotten, the reset runs through the agent who issued the ID, and a temporary password comes back on WhatsApp within minutes.

How long does a 99exch deposit take to show in my account?

A 99exch deposit usually appears in the balance within a few minutes of the agent matching your UTR. Send the 12-digit reference typed as text with your username, then refresh my 99exch. The minimum first deposit is ₹500 by UPI or IMPS.

Is my 99exch account the same on the app and the browser?

Yes. My 99exch shows one balance, one statement and one open-bets list whether you open the APK, the home-screen icon or a browser at 99exch.com. Nothing is stored per device, so a bet placed on the phone appears on the laptop after a refresh.
